Filipe Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Nunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Filipe Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Filipe Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmeiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nildo Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th match minute, Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Eger to maneuver through the defense. Palmeiras's Ezequiel da Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Palmeiras from getting a goal against them. Ezequiel da Costa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luís Paulo Lago showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. When Olavo Schmidt fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmeiras's protests and gave Olavo Schmidt a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Palmeiras getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Olavo Schmidt hit a great ball. Américo Mandrak hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Kléber Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmeiras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salobra AD the free kick. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras's Kléber Peixoto got a free kick in the 27th minute. A hard shot by Josué Pinho from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Ezequiel da Costa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fernando da Silveira got free with Ezequiel da Costa in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Salobra AD's Ezequiel da Costa threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from João Vítor Quintal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as João Vítor Quintal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ezequiel da Costa. That made the score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. After 39 minutes of play Palmeiras's Olavo Schmidt was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Olavo Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Peixoto. Ezequiel da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Lago in the 45th minute of the match. Betão Mesquita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ezequiel da Costa came out and tried to block the shot, but Betão Mesquita slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, Betão Mesquita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ezequiel da Costa. Palmeiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betão Mesquita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Ezequiel da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fernando da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Palmeiras defense, Luís Paulo Lago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezequiel da Costa. The Palmeiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel da Costa should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute, João Vítor Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute of the match Josué Pinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel da Costa skillfully saved the ball. Ezequiel da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo Lago in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Sá came free, but Ezequiel da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palmeiras's Ezequiel da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Sá in the 69th minute of play. Ezequiel da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fernando da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Agostinho Sá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Ezequiel da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ezequiel da Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Vítor Quintal went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Américo Mandrak hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Luiz Fernando da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Sandrinho Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel da Costa came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Salobra AD's Agostinho Sá. But to his dismay, Agostinho Sá quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Ezequiel da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Ezequiel da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Mesquita in the 97th minute of the match. Salobra AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
