Bernardo Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giovani Perez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. When Arlindo Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Flora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arlindo Araújo couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 28 in the game by Wilton Branco from a close distance when the talented Egídio Carioca managed to make a qualified save. Flora's players were relieved. Giovani Perez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serginho Peres went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Bernardo Marquez sped through Israel...Apocalipse 3-20's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giovani Perez. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serginho Peres in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovani Perez saved Israel...Apocalipse 3-20 from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serginho Peres in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovani Perez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giovani Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Peres in the 41st minute of the match. Serginho Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Israel...Apocalipse 3-20 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Flora were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The tension between the Flora and the Israel...Apocalipse 3-20 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Israel...Apocalipse 3-20 booed when Flora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Marquez in the 65th minute of play forced Israel...Apocalipse 3-20's goalkeeper Giovani Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Israel...Apocalipse 3-20's Edgar da Silva got a free kick in the 65th minute. Serginho Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Giovani Perez made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Marquez got free with Giovani Perez in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serginho Peres succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 75th playminute. After having played for 78 minutes, Wilton Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Israel...Apocalipse 3-20's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilton Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
