Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luizinho Galvão made the kick off which started today's match. Washington Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes São Gabriel E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Washington Severo. Adrianinho Britto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luizão Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durval Jacinto in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luizão Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, São Gabriel E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Britto came free, but Josué Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Eliézer Penha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Arósio skillfully saved the ball. Luizão Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Josué Castro managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Ipeuate's Luizão Coutinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jaime Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizinho Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizinho Galvão in the 40th minute of play forced Ipeuate's goalkeeper Jaime Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Vergílio in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Bruno Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Luizinho Galvão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luizão Coutinho to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaime Arósio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durval Jacinto went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Danilo da Cunha hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, one of São Gabriel E.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 72 minutes into the match, Ipeuate's goalkeeper Jaime Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Durval Jacinto. 75 minutes into the game, Ipeuate's Adrianinho Britto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josué Castro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Coutinho in the 80th minute of play forced São Gabriel E.C.'s goalkeeper Josué Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in São Gabriel E.C.'s zone, Luizão Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Castro came out of the goal and Luizão Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Britto notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of São Gabriel E.C.'s Josué Castro. Josué Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. São Gabriel E.C.'s Washington Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, São Gabriel E.C.'s Durval Jacinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Arósio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Josué Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Britto in the 99th minute of play. In the 101st minute, Durval Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ipeuate were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of São Gabriel E.C. for a fine match.
