Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jânio Damião made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, one of Cayru AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 10 minutes into the match, Cayru AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir das Neves came free, but Evandro Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sidnei Cearense during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, AftThugBoat FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Jânio Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renan Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renan Alves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cayru AD booed when AftThugBoat FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jânio Damião's late challenge caught a AftThugBoat FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jânio Damião helped the player get up and apologised. Léo Porto in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rodriguinho da Silveira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 30th minute Sílvio Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayru AD's Léo Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodriguinho da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Porto in the 35th minute of play. Patrício da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rodriguinho da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léo Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Varela made a kick off. If Sílvio Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Léo Porto in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho da Silveira saved AftThugBoat FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in AftThugBoat FC's zone, Jânio Damião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho da Silveira came out of the goal and Jânio Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ademir das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Messias having to interfere. Léo Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AftThugBoat FC's Sidnei Cearense got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Sidnei Cearense off the ground. Léo Porto struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Rodriguinho da Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cayru AD. Cayru AD's Jânio Damião got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Léo Porto got free in front of the goal in the 68th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Rodriguinho da Silveira was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Patrício da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho da Silveira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jânio Damião in the 77th minute of play forced AftThugBoat FC's goalkeeper Rodriguinho da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Léo Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 81 minutes, Jânio Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cayru AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jânio Damião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, AftThugBoat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Porto came free, but Rodriguinho da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jânio Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Léo Porto made a precise shot to the right of Rodriguinho da Silveira. AftThugBoat FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 93 minutes into the match, Cayru AD's Léo Porto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodriguinho da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in AftThugBoat FC's zone, Renan Leme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho da Silveira came out of the goal and Renan Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sílvio Varela hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cayru AD fully deserved thier win.
