Eliseu Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamílton Luz in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tião Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valdo Tavares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arí Baptista went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Valdo Tavares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Queirós went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute Erivaldo Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tião Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdo Tavares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arí Baptista went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the game, Laerte Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coroa EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosaria the free kick. After 25 played minutes Coroa EC got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Félix. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Barbosa in the 28th minute of play forced Coroa EC's goalkeeper Valdo Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Eliseu Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tião Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Rosaria's goal looked a bit too open when Erivaldo Moura came free, but Tião Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Hamílton Luz sped through Rosaria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tião Simões. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosaria's goalkeeper Tião Simões, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tião Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Coroa EC. Eliseu Leite stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tião Simões. 3-3. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamílton Luz to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Rosaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Queirós to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Erivaldo Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tião Simões was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rosaria fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Eliseu Leite shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Jonathan Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erivaldo Moura in the 61st minute of play forced Rosaria's goalkeeper Tião Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdo Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Hamílton Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Eliseu Leite notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of Rosaria's Tião Simões. Tião Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel de Almeida during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Leonel de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Hamílton Luz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tião Simões. Rosaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamílton Luz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-6. When Ramón Melo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coroa EC's protests and gave Ramón Melo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Coroa EC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ramón Melo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Coroa EC defense, Cafu Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdo Tavares. The Coroa EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdo Tavares should have stopped the shot. Coroa EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
