Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonas Garcia kicked off to start the match. Lagolandia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Ferraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrianinho Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Kuririn F.C's Fabinho Pires got a free kick in the 11th minute. Jonas Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomé Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Lagolandia EC defense, Jonas Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laerte Quadros. The Lagolandia EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laerte Quadros should have stopped the shot. Adrianinho Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Ferraz in the 30th minute. Laerte Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Garcia's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lagolandia EC's zone, Bernardinho Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laerte Quadros came out of the goal and Bernardinho Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Silveira in the 41st minute of play forced Lagolandia EC's goalkeeper Laerte Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomé Medeiros made a kick off. Laerte Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Garcia's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. A collision led to Lagolandia EC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Rony Coelho hit a great ball. Fabinho Pires, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kuririn F.C played a much better game than Lagolandia EC and deserved their victory. The Lagolandia EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
