Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Juarês Aguiar took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Luisinho Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th match minute, Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Zanette came free, but Raimundo Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléber Chaves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Raimundo Mesquita made a huge save. Raimundo Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Luisinho Sabóia sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisinho Sabóia got free with Raimundo Mesquita in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eriberto Coutinho came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal's Samuca Silva. But to his dismay, Samuca Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eriberto Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Silva in the 33rd minute of play. After 37 played minutes Jabaquara got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Chaves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Silva in the 43rd minute of play forced Jabaquara's goalkeeper Eriberto Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luisinho Sabóia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
Raimundo Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Sabóia in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Célio Zanette notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Arsenal's Raimundo Mesquita. Raimundo Mesquita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juarês Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Coutinho made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Samuca Silva sent off a good shot on target. Luisinho Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Raimundo Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jabaquara's Eriberto Coutinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Jabaquara from getting a goal against them. Célio Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Mesquita having to interfere. Raimundo Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Prado in the 72nd minute of the match. Samuca Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Eriberto Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Mesquita came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jabaquara's Célio Zanette. But to his dismay, Célio Zanette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Eriberto Coutinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuca Silva in the 89th minute. Samuca Silva came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eriberto Coutinho could save by the left post. Raimundo Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Sabóia in the 94th minute of play. Jabaquara's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
