If Gustavo do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bitumirim SC's Nicolas Linares got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Pedro Luís Matos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cacá Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 26th minute, Baltazar Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Gol De Ouro's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Linares came free, but Cacá Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Costa having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Egídio Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Gol De Ouro's zone, Nicolas Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacá Costa came out of the goal and Nicolas Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denílson Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr de Queiroz having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Bitumirim SC's Baltazar Mineiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cacá Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, Bitumirim SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Bitumirim SC's Walmyr de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Sena in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bitumirim SC's Jefferson Mesquita got a free kick in the 58th minute. Walmyr de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Baltazar Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bitumirim SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltazar Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cacá Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walmyr de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo do Valle in the 67th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltazar Mineiro got free with Cacá Costa in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baltazar Mineiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cacá Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltazar Mineiro ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the game, Egídio Breckenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gol De Ouro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bitumirim SC the free kick. In the 77th minute, Egídio Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willian Miranda, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the Bitumirim SC defense, Gustavo do Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walmyr de Queiroz. The Bitumirim SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmyr de Queiroz should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Cacá Costa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nicolas Linares scored 1-4 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cacá Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cacá Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Linares in the 87th minute of the match. Baltazar Mineiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cacá Costa having to make a save. Nicolas Linares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cacá Costa came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicolas Linares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 90th minute. Gustavo do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr de Queiroz having to interfere. Bitumirim SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
