Pedrinho Abreu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Gerson Bittencourt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Richard Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tulhas booed when Cumanda SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beto Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes of play, Tulhas's Luisão Luz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimir Mandrak made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Enio Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisão Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
