Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anselmo Bastos made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th match minute, Sapopema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando França to maneuver through the defense. After 7 played minutes Chunga SRN got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Miranda. After recieving a nice pass, Sapopema's Gualter Mazza tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Anselmo Bastos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 13 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vágner Correia was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vágner Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Bastos in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Fernandinho Loyola fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vágner Correia, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Sapopema's Luís Fernando França got a free kick in the 24th minute. Cafu Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Luís Fernando França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chunga SRN's Vágner Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Bastos in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, Chunga SRN's Vágner Correia got control of the ball when Fernandinho Loyola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anselmo Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Vágner Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Fernandinho Loyola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Bastos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vágner Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. If Davi de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd minute, Luís Fernando França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernandinho Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Correia having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play, Sapopema's Kléberson Teixeira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vágner Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Gualter Mazza put in a rough tackle. In the 74th minute, Davi de Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chunga SRN's zone, Matías Passos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vágner Correia came out of the goal and Matías Passos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernandinho Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Correia having to interfere. If Fernandinho Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Lauro Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sapopema's Fernandinho Loyola in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chunga SRN's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute, Matías Passos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Chunga SRN's Davi de Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cafu Bueno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernandinho Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Correia having to interfere. Kléberson Teixeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vágner Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. Chunga SRN succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sapopema had controlled the match.
