Spectators: 5694 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 13) Nilmar Miranda made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Jaragua FC booed when Paratei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Jaragua FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredão Valadares. Sydney Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caetano Souto during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Caetano Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 21 minutes, Nilmar Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paratei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilmar Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustão de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Castro having to interfere. Dagoberto Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. António Pires was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 31st minute Nilmar Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilmar Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Braga having to interfere. Jaragua FC's Eriberto Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Pires in the 36th minute of play. Benê Furlan scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Alfredão Valadares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paratei fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jaragua FC's Benê Furlan got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

52 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Bezerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paratei's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaragua FC the free kick. Afonsinho Bezerra hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Eriberto Braga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilmar Miranda went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Alfredão Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Braga having to interfere. A collision led to Paratei getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Eliseu Alves hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benê Furlan got free with Tomás Castro in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Bezerra notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Jaragua FC's Eriberto Braga. Eriberto Braga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfredão Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Eriberto Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão de Queirós in the 77th minute of play forced Paratei's goalkeeper Tomás Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Valadares in the 81st minute of play forced Jaragua FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustão de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Castro having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Paratei:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jaragua FC:s goal. When Flávio Ramalho came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Paratei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flávio Ramalho couldn't finish the play. Paratei's Percy da Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alfredão Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Paratei had played much better football throughout.
