Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sydney Rezende made the kick off and thus started the match. If Nilmar Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th match minute, Pitingao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Quaresma to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dudu Baptista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Bezerra notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pitingao FC's Ernesto Peixoto. Ernesto Peixoto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nilmar Miranda made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Alfredão Valadares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ernesto Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomás Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Rezende in the 56th minute of play. Pitingao FC's Ernesto Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Pitingao FC from getting a goal against them. Pitingao FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Nilmar Miranda scored to the left of an out of position Ernesto Peixoto, making the score, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilmar Miranda in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Peixoto saved Pitingao FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilmar Miranda got free with Ernesto Peixoto in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernesto Peixoto was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and António Pires capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. António Pires really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Nilmar Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ernesto Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Paratei's Nilmar Miranda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Peixoto. Ernesto Peixoto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. In the 89th minute, Dudu Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Peixoto came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Paratei's Alfredão Valadares. But to his dismay, Alfredão Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. The Pitingao FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paratei were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
