With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelsinho Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nelsinho Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Jonathan Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Souza in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amauri Berger saved Praieiro from getting behind. Daniel Marinho hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Zé Roberto Toledo could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Amauri Berger however easily saved by the left post. Nelsinho Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus da Mata in the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Praieiro's Juarês Lopes got a free kick in the 34th minute. SC Godinez's Zé Roberto Toledo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Nelsinho Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus da Mata in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 minutes of play, Praieiro's Mateus da Mata made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Roberto Toledo made a kick off. Amauri Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Roberto Toledo in the 58th minute of play. Praieiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. When Víktor Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Praieiro's protests and gave Víktor Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. SC Godinez's Elder Furtado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Praieiro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Roberto Toledo in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amauri Berger saved Praieiro from getting behind.
