Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After 57 minutes of play, Scudeiros FC's José Meirelles made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zeca Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Augusto Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Márcio Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeca Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fernando Vargas's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Altair AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Scudeiros FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
