Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chico Machado was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Sobreiro FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Fernão das Neves hit a great ball. Chico Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Vito Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vito Moreira had great luck who in the 63rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Chico Machado from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If José Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Gustavo Trigo in the 78th minute of play forced Scudeiros FC's goalkeeper Zeca Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Sobreiro FC's Vito Moreira got control of the ball when José Meirelles tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Meirelles struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chico Machado in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vito Moreira saved Sobreiro FC from getting behind. Scudeiros FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
