C.'s Tales Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik de Amorim in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Erik de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Aníbal Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th match minute, Antway E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Adrianinho Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mariopolis booed when Antway E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik de Amorim in the 34th minute of play forced Antway E. C.'s goalkeeper Tales Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Antway E. C.'s goalkeeper Tales Lira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrianinho Alves. Erik de Amorim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tales Lira came out and tried to block the shot, but Erik de Amorim slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 42nd minute.

Adrianinho Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Antway E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Erik de Amorim came free, but Tales Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik de Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tales Lira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Adrianinho Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Lira having to interfere. A collision led to Antway E. C. getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Aníbal Donato hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Adrianinho Alves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tales Lira was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Tales Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Erik de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tales Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tales Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Adrianinho Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Antway E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Alves came free, but Tales Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, one of Antway E. C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mariopolis walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
