Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valdir Gaspar kicked off to start the match. Claudinho Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Capixaba having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Adalberto Luz rounded Seco's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Seco's zone, Adalberto Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Paulo Baptista came out of the goal and Adalberto Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cleiton Abraão fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pindoba's protests and gave Cleiton Abraão a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, Pindoba's Luiz Paulo Baptista threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adalberto Luz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 18th minute, Pindoba's Adalberto Luz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Paulo Baptista. Luiz Paulo Baptista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Adalberto Luz struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Luiz Paulo Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pindoba. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adalberto Luz in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Paulo Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Adalberto Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinho Ceresso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Álvaro Capixaba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Rômulo Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Paulo Baptista made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Rômulo Recife sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Fernando Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Seco's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rômulo Recife.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adalberto Luz to make the kick off. Adalberto Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Juvenal Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Gaspar in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Capixaba saved Pindoba from getting behind. Seco's Luiz Paulo Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rômulo Recife in the 62nd minute of play. Álvaro Capixaba was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valdir Gaspar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 63 minute of play. Luiz Paulo Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Recife in the 68th minute of play. Rômulo Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Baptista having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Emanuel da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Didi Dracena during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pindoba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Seco's Sílvio Luís Freire got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Álvaro Capixaba. After having played for 80 minutes, Adalberto Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindoba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rômulo Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Paulo Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Recife in the 91st minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
