Spectators: 6645 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1645, VIP seats: 0) Time do Murty FC's Germano de Sousa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luiz Paulo Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Valdir Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Almir Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinho Ceresso got free with Almir Varela in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, Sílvio Luís Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisinho Zanette during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luisinho Zanette hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Valdir Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Valdir Gaspar sped through Time do Murty FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Almir Varela. In the 20th minute, Time do Murty FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Valdir Gaspar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luiz Paulo Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano de Sousa in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 28th minute Germano de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Paulo Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Varela having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Valdir Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Time do Murty FC's Almir Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudinho Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Almir Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Claudinho Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdir Gaspar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Seco's David Romero got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Claudinho Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Varela having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Valdir Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Seco's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Tavares. With a little luck, Seco's Luiz Paulo Baptista got control of the ball when Tiago Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdir Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seco's Valdir Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Almir Varela came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Seco's Claudinho Ceresso. But to his dismay, Claudinho Ceresso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Time do Murty FC's Luisinho Zanette suffered a sore knee after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 74 minutes into the game, Manoel Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Time do Murty FC the free kick. After 75 played minutes Seco got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Amaral. Time do Murty FC's Luciano Mota shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luiz Paulo Baptista but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Seco's Luiz Paulo Baptista got control of the ball when Tiago Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Time do Murty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Netto to maneuver through the defense. Claudinho Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Almir Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
