Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Juvenal Varela took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jonas Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Caixa Prego SC's Oswaldo Tinoco got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Caixa Prego SC's zone, Juvenal Varela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elder Soares came out of the goal and Juvenal Varela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Luiz Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Alcântara in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Juvenal Varela notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Caixa Prego SC's Elder Soares. Elder Soares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Ramiro Berger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Luiz Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 30 minutes into the game, Juvenal Varela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Elder Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juvenal Varela took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elder Soares. Elder Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Caixa Prego SC's Elder Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Caixa Prego SC from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caixa Prego SC's goalkeeper Elder Soares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Blitzkrieg FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Patrício Breckenfeld hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiro Berger to make the kick off. When Pedrão Schmidt came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Blitzkrieg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrão Schmidt couldn't finish the play. Juvenal Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Nogueira in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elder Soares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juvenal Varela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elder Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Nogueira in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elder Soares saved Caixa Prego SC from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Juvenal Varela notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Caixa Prego SC's Elder Soares. Elder Soares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juninho Ramos during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 minutes, Jonas Nogueira made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Caixa Prego SC's Elder Soares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Blitzkrieg FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Paulão Esteves hit a great ball. Jonas Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Soares having to interfere. The supporters of Blitzkrieg FC booed when Caixa Prego SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Jonas Nogueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elder Soares was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Elder Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Varela in the 80th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Caixa Prego SC's Benedito Alcântara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Luiz Negri. That made the score 5-2 after 81 minutes of play. Jonas Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Elder Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Juvenal Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blitzkrieg FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
