Régis Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aluísio Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Régis Urbano made a huge save. Gino Messias hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Fred Silveira took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dedé Schmidt. Dedé Schmidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. David da Mata hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Vivaldo de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Schmidt having to interfere. Fred Silveira succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. In the 36th match minute, Caiambe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. If Aluísio Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Régis Urbano came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Picos FC's Aluísio Guerra. But to his dismay, Aluísio Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 77th minute, Gino Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Picos FC's Aluísio Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Fred Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Vivaldo de Azevedo sped through Picos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dedé Schmidt. Rômulo Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
