Elói Pombal started the match with the kick off. Jerônimo Quadros hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. EliTe ToP TeaM's Elói Pombal got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Lara in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Mendonça in the 19th minute of play forced Convenfo's goalkeeper Túlio Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Convenfo's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Paraíba came free, but Túlio Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, EliTe ToP TeaM's Flávio Borges nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Túlio Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gabriel Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernani Lara struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. José Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Convenfo. Túlio Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Mendonça in the 33rd minute of the match. Elói Pombal's late challenge caught a Convenfo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elói Pombal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, EliTe ToP TeaM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Pombal to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, Convenfo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Quadros to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elói Pombal got free with Túlio Vale in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Marco Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Túlio Vale was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Elói Pombal came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Túlio Vale could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, EliTe ToP TeaM's Hermínio Sabóia got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernani Lara to make the kick off. Marco Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute of the match EliTe ToP TeaM got a corner. Convenfo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dário Palmeira ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 59th match minute, EliTe ToP TeaM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Borges to maneuver through the defense. After a good free kick, Flávio Borges got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Convenfo. Túlio Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Convenfo defense, Marco Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Vale. The Convenfo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Vale should have stopped the shot. Convenfo's Túlio Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Pombal in the 70th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Convenfo's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Pombal came free, but Túlio Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Borges in the 81st minute of play forced Convenfo's goalkeeper Túlio Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Convenfo's Túlio Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Pombal in the 86th minute of play. Túlio Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elói Pombal's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After 93 played minutes Convenfo got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Albuquerque. Hernani Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Alves having to interfere. EliTe ToP TeaM's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
