Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Britto started the match with the kick off. Mário Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Recife having to interfere. In the 9th minute of the match Nilton dos Santos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gino Rodrigues skillfully saved the ball. In the 12th match minute, Rolador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Britto to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Rolador defense, Hernani Barral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gino Rodrigues. The Rolador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gino Rodrigues should have stopped the shot. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Canguera EC! When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Douglas Messias took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gugu Recife to make any attempt to save it. In the 23rd minute Erivaldo Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Canguera EC's Hernani Barral in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rolador's goalie prevented a goal. Hernani Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Canguera EC's Erivaldo Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rolador's Christian Britto in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canguera EC's goalie prevented a goal. Christian Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gugu Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Canguera EC got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Bastos. After 45 played minutes Douglas Messias scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Gugu Recife who was too lazy, 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernani Barral to strike the kick off in the second half. Diogo de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. If Christian Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luiz Madureira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rolador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canguera EC the free kick. After 60 played minutes Rolador got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz Madureira. If Hernani Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erivaldo Duarte got free with Gino Rodrigues in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mário Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gugu Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gugu Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Britto in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Rolador booed when Canguera EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Mário Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rolador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Carioca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rolador's Mário Carioca in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canguera EC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Rolador's Gino Rodrigues got control of the ball when Hernani Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Canguera EC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Rolador from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
