Canxe EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaltino Ferraz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Black Pearl Sporting's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Araújo came free, but Bruninho Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Isaltino Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Pearl Sporting's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Ferraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Veiga in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Vergílio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the match, Canxe EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando Cerezo came free, but Júlio Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Isaltino Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Guilherme Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canxe EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Pearl Sporting the free kick. The supporters of Black Pearl Sporting booed when Canxe EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdomiro Hoffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdomiro Hoffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Canxe EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Black Pearl Sporting's Christian Veiga fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Canxe EC's Júlio Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Ferraz in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Black Pearl Sporting were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Veiga to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Black Pearl Sporting's Isaltino Ferraz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júlio Vergílio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christian Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Isaltino Ferraz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Júlio Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
