Borrachudo EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Manaus FC the free kick. Pedro Marquez hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes, Pedro Luiz Meirelles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Manaus FC and the Borrachudo EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donatello Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio Tróia in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Dedê Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olívio Tróia struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Donatello Proença didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borrachudo EC. After a rather tough play, Real Manaus FC's Jonathan Pontes got a free kick in the 20th minute. Eduardo Dudu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olívio Tróia in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donatello Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olívio Tróia in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donatello Proença saved Real Manaus FC from getting behind. If Stoyko Velkovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Marquez in the 33rd minute of play forced Real Manaus FC's goalkeeper Donatello Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Borrachudo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho Guimarães came free, but Eduardo Dudu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olívio Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Dudu came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Manaus FC's Silvinho Guimarães. But to his dismay, Silvinho Guimarães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The Borrachudo EC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Borrachudo EC's Olívio Tróia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Borrachudo EC were furious when Samuel Mineiro was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Borrachudo EC! Borrachudo EC:s Eduardo Dudu showed great skill when he stopped Aleandro Ceresso:s penalty. Aleandro Ceresso took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Dudu. Eduardo Dudu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 66th minute, Jonathan Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donatello Proença didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olívio Tróia went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Borrachudo EC defense, Silvinho Guimarães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Dudu. The Borrachudo EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Dudu should have stopped the shot. Eduardo Dudu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Guimarães in the 74th minute of the match. Olívio Tróia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Donatello Proença when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Olívio Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Donatello Proença made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Pedro Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Real Manaus FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jonathan Pontes hit a great ball. Olívio Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Donatello Proença made a huge save. Eduardo Dudu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Donatello Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Marquez in the 96th minute of the match. Real Manaus FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Borrachudo EC for a fine match.
