Valeriu Corduneanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Luisinho Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Dedé da Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaquary AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Element FC the free kick. After 25 played minutes Jaquary AD got a freekick which was hit by Dedé da Silva. The Element FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Element FC's Cyryl Mentis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 33 minutes, Cyryl Mentis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Element FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyryl Mentis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Element FC's 林冰庭 got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Acácio Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Element FC's 林冰庭 got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Jairo Pontes made a precise shot to the right of Luisinho Bezerra. Jaquary AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 54 minutes into the match Cyryl Mentis climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-3 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Luisinho Bezerra. Jaquary AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 70th minute, Jaquary AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cyryl Mentis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 71st match minute, Jaquary AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Neves to maneuver through the defense. Cyryl Mentis in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luisinho Bezerra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ronaldão Paiva charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldão Paiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Jaquary AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldão Paiva to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Nelsinho Cearense took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Luisinho Bezerra to make any attempt to save it. Luisinho Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Mentis in the 85th minute of the match. When 林冰庭 came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Element FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 林冰庭 couldn't finish the play. Luisinho Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Mentis in the 87th minute of play. Element FC's Valeriu Corduneanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo de Castro in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Element FC's zone, Dedé da Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valeriu Corduneanu came out of the goal and Dedé da Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Element FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé da Silva came free, but Valeriu Corduneanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dedé da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Element FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jaquary AD.
