Caetano Hoffmann, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Benjamin Ingelborgs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Carlos Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeu Dias made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Raúl Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. After 72 minutes of play Futebol Clube Piacatu's Téo Trancoso was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Téo Trancoso hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Genílson Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzalia's zone, Genílson Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Silva came out of the goal and Genílson Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Geovânio Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes in the game, Genílson Lopez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carlos Silva having to interfere. The Futebol Clube Piacatu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
