After having played for 24 minutes, Roger Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curralinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Mangueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Guapaba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Delfim Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Roger Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Curralinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Mangueira couldn't finish the play. Dagoberto Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Guapaba FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delfim Romero. Delfim Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dagoberto Soares made a huge save. With his leg Dagoberto Soares managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Curralinho's Delfim Romero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Curralinho's zone, Elano Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 魏天威 came out of the goal and Elano Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Josué Vianna made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Curralinho got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Teixeira. Elano Schmidt might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 魏天威. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elano Schmidt ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 54 minutes, Roger Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 58th minute Roger Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Guapaba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Mangueira came free, but Dagoberto Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Soares having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Guapaba FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos Lira. After 84 minutes of play, Curralinho's Roger Mangueira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dagoberto Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Carlinhos Lira fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guapaba FC's protests and gave Carlinhos Lira a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Guapaba FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos Lira. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guapaba FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Curralinho a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Black Kafka, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guapaba FC's Dagoberto Soares. 2-0. Sydney da Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 魏天威 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Curralinho had played much better football throughout.
