Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marcelo Galvão made the kick off and thus started the match. If Baltazar Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 4th minute, Baltazar Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Camirim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Elano Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Galvão in the 11th minute of play. Caranahyba's César Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião Melo in the 12th minute of play. Camirim's Elano Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Galvão in the 14th minute of play. César Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tião Melo in the 15th minute of play. If Décio Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 23 minutes into the match, Caranahyba's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Melo came free, but César Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Baltazar Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Camirim's Tião Melo in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caranahyba's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tião Melo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck César Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caranahyba's César Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião Melo in the 35th minute of play. Tião Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 played minutes Camirim got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Arce. After 42 played minutes Camirim got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Paiva. Camirim's Elano Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Capixaba in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tião Melo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Décio Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Décio Fernandez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but César Domingues was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. With his leg César Domingues managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Camirim's Tião Melo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcelo Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano Pombal having to interfere. Francisco Capixaba's late challenge caught a Camirim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Capixaba helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Francisco Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th match minute, Caranahyba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Nunes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Décio Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camirim's supporters rose to their feet, but Décio Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tião Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. César Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Décio Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but César Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Caranahyba's goalkeeper César Domingues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tião Melo. Tião Melo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 82ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but César Domingues would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. With his leg César Domingues managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Camirim's Tião Melo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, Caranahyba's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Fernandez came free, but César Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elano Pombal came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Caranahyba's Marcelo Galvão. But to his dismay, Marcelo Galvão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
