Danilo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Arí Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Narciso Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macaubas's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Terra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arí Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arí Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Terra in the 12th minute of the match. Macaubas's Michel Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Pontes in the 15th minute of play. When Danilo Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Macaubas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Fontes couldn't finish the play. If Narciso Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sidnei Passos during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Macaubas booed when Joker F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidnei Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Carlos Nóbrega made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sidnei Passos however managed to control. Sidnei Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Sidnei Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joker F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidnei Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Pontes was the one to do the kick off. Jeremias Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Betinho Barros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Mineiro skillfully saved the ball. After 53 played minutes Macaubas got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Fontes. After 54 played minutes Macaubas got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Fontes. A collision led to Macaubas getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jeremias Branco hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes Joker F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Pontes. Macaubas's attentive Christiano Pontes managed to snatch the ball when Antônio Carlos Nóbrega made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Pontes in the 64th minute of play forced Macaubas's goalkeeper Michel Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joker F.C.'s Arí Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Terra in the 70th minute of play. When Giuseppe Prado fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joker F.C.'s protests and gave Giuseppe Prado a yellow card for diving instead. Macaubas's Deivid Ramos was substituted for Ediberto Soeiro. Giuseppe Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Narciso Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macaubas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Macaubas booed when Joker F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Deivid Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Joker F.C.'s zone, Narciso Terra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arí Dias came out of the goal and Narciso Terra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Joker F.C.'s Jairo Pontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Mineiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Macaubas's Narciso Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Macaubas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
