Luiz Eduardo Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aluísio Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Gustavo Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The supporters of Jojoca SS booed when zuando was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aluísio Amaral came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luiz Eduardo Motta could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, zuando's Rui Ribeiro got a free kick in the 56th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Jojoca SS's Zé Tavares tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Aluísio Amaral received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Eduardo Motta came out and tried to block the shot, but Aluísio Amaral slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 58th minute. After 61 played minutes Jojoca SS got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Cerezo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Almir Cunha in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fábio Mendes saved Jojoca SS from getting behind. Miguel Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 70 minutes, Cesinha Prado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the zuando and the Jojoca SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luiz Eduardo Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Cerezo in the 77th minute. A collision led to Jojoca SS getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Miguel Soeiro hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Almir Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Fábio Mendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Berkem Sungurbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute.
