After a defensive mix-up in Trieste F.C.'s zone, Almir Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Maia came out of the goal and Almir Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Berkem Sungurbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Trieste F.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Simão Félix hit a great ball. Almir Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Maia having to interfere. Almir Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Marcel Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of zuando booed when Trieste F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berkem Sungurbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Maia having to interfere. Emerson Toledo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Maia. Marcel Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Almir Cunha struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Marcel Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for zuando. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Berkem Sungurbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. zuando's supporters rose to their feet, but Berkem Sungurbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Almir Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Almir Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Maia was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Almir Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Almir Cunha in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dedé Teixeira lost his temper 89 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Trieste F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of zuando:s goal. The referee gave zuando a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Almir Cunha, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Trieste F.C.'s Marcel Maia. 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. zuando fully deserved thier win.
