Salvador Orixe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of José Carlos Saldanha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Abare EC's Cristian Brito got a free kick in the 7th minute. José Carlos Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvador Orixe in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute of the match ACE MT - FC got a corner. Abare EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Norbert Mazierski ran over to the corner to take the kick. With his leg José Carlos Saldanha managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when ACE MT - FC's Salvador Orixe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristian Brito fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 20th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. José Carlos Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Orixe in the 23rd minute of play. If Norbert Mazierski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 28 in the game by Salvador Orixe from a close distance when the talented José Carlos Saldanha managed to make a qualified save. Abare EC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, ACE MT - FC's Osvaldo Viana got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 44th minute, Josué Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Carlos Saldanha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Osvaldo Viana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Brito made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Salvador Orixe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Brito in the 54th minute of play forced ACE MT - FC's goalkeeper Nilson Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Carlos Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Mazierski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josué Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Saldanha having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Abare EC's Maurinho Velloso got a free kick in the 64th minute. When ACE MT - FC's Norbert Mazierski in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abare EC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Salvador Orixe sped through Abare EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Carlos Saldanha. José Carlos Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Mazierski in the 72nd minute of play. José Carlos Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Orixe in the 89th minute of the match. ACE MT - FC's Osvaldo Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norbert Mazierski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Carlos Saldanha came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by ACE MT - FC's Osvaldo Viana. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
