With a little luck, Galaxy Campinas's Aníbal Souto got control of the ball when Michel Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Galaxy Campinas got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Quadros. Aníbal Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Pinheiro in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the Galaxy Campinas defense, Michel Velasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aníbal Souto. The Galaxy Campinas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aníbal Souto should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Galaxy Campinas's goalkeeper Aníbal Souto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Velasco. If Elivélton Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Juacema booed when Galaxy Campinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanks to some nice moves Pedrinho Nóbrega could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Aníbal Souto however easily saved by the left post. Michel Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aníbal Souto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrique Quadros to strike the kick off in the second half. When Gualter Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Galaxy Campinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualter Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. Henrique Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Guilherme Baiano shot a long shot in the 57th minute and a light blocked Aníbal Souto hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 4-0. In the 61stth minute of the game Elivélton Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galaxy Campinas's Aníbal Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Elivélton Pinheiro put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aníbal Souto. After 91 minutes of play, Juacema's Elivélton Pinheiro made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aníbal Souto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elivélton Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Souto having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Juacema had won after a very even match.
