Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elivélton Pinheiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cariacica EC's Elivélton Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Velasco in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 5 minutes, Tadeu das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cariacica EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeu das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jefferson Borges didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Dito Soutos short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Jefferson Borges to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Juacema's Dida de Brito got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jefferson Borges was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Evaristo de Salles. Dito Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Borges having to interfere. Denílson Secco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Jefferson Borges made a huge save. Cariacica EC were furious when Ronaldo Prado was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Juacema's Elivélton Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Michel Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cariacica EC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tadeu das Neves hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Pinheiro in the 36th minute of play forced Cariacica EC's goalkeeper Elivélton Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dito Souto in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Juacema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Denílson Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jefferson Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeu das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Borges having to interfere. Jefferson Borges was a little too slow when Dito Souto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denílson Secco was the one to do the kick off. Dito Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Secco in the 54th minute of play forced Juacema's goalkeeper Jefferson Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute Dito Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Juacema defense, Dito Souto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jefferson Borges. The Juacema fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jefferson Borges should have stopped the shot. When Celso de Salles fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juacema's protests and gave Celso de Salles a yellow card for diving instead. Cariacica EC's Elivélton Pombal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Cariacica EC from getting a goal against them. Denílson Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Borges having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Cariacica EC's Renatinho Falcão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jefferson Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Denílson Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elivélton Pombal made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Pedrinho Nóbrega sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute, Juacema's Michel Velasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elivélton Pombal. Elivélton Pombal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denílson Secco in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jefferson Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denílson Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jefferson Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jefferson Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Secco in the 91st minute of the match. If Dito Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cido Cunha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elivélton Pombal. Cariacica EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dito Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
