Sustino SS's Michel Abreu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Sustino SS from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Pantanal's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Prestes came free, but Dé Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Oséas Prado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dé Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Pantanal getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dênis da Silveira hit a great ball. Renato Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renato Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oséas Prado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dênis da Silveira couldn't finish the play. Adrianinho Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Pantanal's Dênis da Silveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Abreu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sustino SS's Gino Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clemente Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Oséas Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sustino SS's Erivaldo Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pantanal's Dênis da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Oséas Prado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dé Salgado. Oséas Prado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The Sustino SS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
