Argider Segarra scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurinho Corrêa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurinho Corrêa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, Luiz Eduardo Campidelis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelinho Melo. Suvaco de Kobra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Eduardo Campidelis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Itacuru's Maurinho Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argider Segarra in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vitinho Vergílio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurinho Corrêa was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 53rd match minute, Suvaco de Kobra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Tande to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the game, Luiz Eduardo Campidelis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Marcelinho Melo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maurinho Corrêa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Argider Segarra's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes Itacuru got a freekick which was hit by Décio Gaspar. Maurinho Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitinho Vergílio in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitinho Vergílio got free with Maurinho Corrêa in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 74 minutes on the clock, Ricardo de Castro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 73 minutes into the game, one of Itacuru:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vitinho Vergílio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Maurinho Corrêa made a huge save. Vitinho Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurinho Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Vitinho Vergílio sent off a good shot on target. Itacuru's Maurinho Corrêa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Itacuru from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argider Segarra in the 96th minute of play forced Itacuru's goalkeeper Maurinho Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Suvaco de Kobra FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Egídio Goiano hit a great ball. Suvaco de Kobra FC played a much better game than Itacuru and deserved their victory. The Itacuru players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
