After having played for 6 minutes, Caio de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campinhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caio de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Caio de Amorim took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Carlos Eduardo Donato to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Campinhas's Simão Alves got a free kick in the 12th minute. Caio de Amorim came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Eduardo Donato could save by the left post. In the 21st minute Rui Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cafu Jacinto couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Marmeleiro FC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caio de Amorim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Maciel in the 41st minute of play forced Marmeleiro FC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Marmeleiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Maciel came free, but Carlos Eduardo Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marmeleiro FC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Vivaldo Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Eduardo Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Maciel in the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Campinhas had played much better football throughout.
