In the 18th minute, Manhumirim City's Edmundo Ribeiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edmundo Ribeiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Manhumirim City protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edmundo Ribeiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Edmundo Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, one of Manhumirim City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Jurupeba. Marquinhos Ramos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonardo Donato. 0-1. Leonardo Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored Jurupeba's protests and gave Adelino da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. 62 minutes into the game, Pedro Luiz Rosa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonardo Donato. Pedro Luiz Rosa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. A collision led to Jurupeba getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Pedro Luiz Rosa hit a great ball. Matheus Loyola charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 87th minute, Cássio Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dário Queirós went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. During the 97th minute of the match Pedro Luiz Rosa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pedro Luiz Rosa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Pedro Luiz Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jurupeba walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
