Wladyslaw Domeracki started the match with the kick off. If Marcinho de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Wladyslaw Domeracki got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Zé Carlos Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Batedor's Erik Zanette got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Carlos Fernando Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batedor's Hélder da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute Zé Carlos Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wladyslaw Domeracki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Betinho Rossi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 17th match minute, Itaquena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando da Mata to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Zé Carlos Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batedor's Hélder da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Valle in the 26th minute of play. If Carlos Fernando Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Zanette hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Carlos Fernando Loyola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélder da Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hélder da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Valle in the 35th minute of the match. Marcinho de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betinho Rossi having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Hélder da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Fernando Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hélder da Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Zé Carlos Valle sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute, Carlos Fernando Loyola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Batedor's Hélder da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Valle in the 68th minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Carlos Fernando Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batedor's Hélder da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Itaquena FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Lino Arruda hit a great ball. Hélder da Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Zé Carlos Valle sent off a good shot on target. When Carlos Fernando Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Itaquena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Fernando Loyola couldn't finish the play. Patrick Pontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélder da Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Pontes ran back to his position shaking his head. Betinho Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wladyslaw Domeracki, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Wladyslaw Domeracki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavel Sierra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betinho Rossi having to interfere.
