In the 10th minute Gilvan Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Maria Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Luisinho Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tabainha's Gilvan Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luisinho Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilvan Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Maria Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th match minute, Tabainha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Zilles to maneuver through the defense. Lauro Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino de Medeiros in the 31st minute of the match. If Isaltino de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite this Luisinho Donatello quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 64 minutes into the match, Isaltino de Medeiros notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tabainha's Lauro Schmidt. Lauro Schmidt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luisinho Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Neves in the 68th minute of play. After 74 minutes of play F.C Santos's Agostinho de Toledo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Luisinho Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Cardozo in the 77th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Paulo José de Alcântara sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and F.C Santos's Luisinho Donatello didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Maria Neves in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisinho Donatello saved F.C Santos from getting behind. The F.C Santos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
