The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andrézinho Mello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Júlio Valle made a huge save. Márcio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo da Silva in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Andrézinho Mello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bitaculo AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Júlio Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrézinho Mello in the 21st minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caio Santana was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Adolfo da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrézinho Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Valle having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Andrézinho Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Júlio Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Eugênio Nunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Júlio Valle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugênio Nunes went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. If Andrézinho Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Júlio Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 77 played minutes horrivel plate got a freekick which was hit by Caco Dantas. Júlio Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibúrcio Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Andrézinho Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júlio Valle was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Bitaculo AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
