Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Curuzu's goalkeeper Dudu Netto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franklin de Souza. Dudu Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Curuzu's Dudu Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge de Andrade in the 5th minute of play. Marquinhos Berger did an outstanding performance 8 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Betinho Vander in the goal. Dudu Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Esteves in the 12th minute of the match. Dudu Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinei Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Dinei Esteves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dudu Netto, 1-1. Dudu Netto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robinho Ramos in the 24th minute. With an all-out effort, Chumbado SS's Dudu Netto threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dinei Esteves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robinho Ramos in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dudu Netto saved Curuzu from getting behind. After some careless play in the Curuzu defense, Robinho Ramos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dudu Netto. The Curuzu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dudu Netto should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute Marquinhos Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Esteves in the 41st minute of play forced Curuzu's goalkeeper Dudu Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dudu Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinei Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Dinei Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dudu Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Chumbado SS's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Berger came free, but Betinho Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinei Esteves might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dudu Netto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinei Esteves ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute, Franklin de Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chumbado SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. A collision led to Chumbado SS getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jorge de Andrade hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinei Esteves in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dudu Netto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Esteves in the 80th minute of play forced Curuzu's goalkeeper Dudu Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Curuzu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Berger to maneuver through the defense. If Robinho Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Robinho Ramos notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Curuzu's Dudu Netto. Dudu Netto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chumbado SS had played much better football throughout.
