Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Abel Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mundubim's goalkeeper João Carlos Braga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Carlos Teixeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Carlos Braga having to make a save. When Manfredo Novaes fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mundubim's protests and gave Manfredo Novaes a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mundubim! FujaLoko's Narciso Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Rezende in the 22nd minute of play. Acácio Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Gomes having to interfere. Narciso Gomes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dudu Lago in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes of play, Mundubim's Dudu Lago made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Gomes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodoro Rezende scored 2-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Gomes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute of the match Caio Ramos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Gomes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dudu Lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Narciso Gomes made a huge save. After 43 played minutes Mundubim got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar de Salles. João Carlos Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Teixeira in the 46th minute of the match. FujaLoko's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabrício Moura in the 48th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro Rezende made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Rezende's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Gomes was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. When Dudu Lago came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Mundubim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu Lago couldn't finish the play. Dudu Lago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narciso Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Murilo Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Mundubim defense, Valdo Tande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Carlos Braga. The Mundubim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Carlos Braga should have stopped the shot. Raphael Leite hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. FujaLoko's Fabrício Moura couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mundubim. 85 minutes into the match, Mundubim's Teodoro Rezende sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Narciso Gomes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Abel Mesquita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FujaLoko fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FujaLoko walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
