Dudu Lago took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Souza. Eduardo Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. João Carlos Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferquim's Nuno Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Braga having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Luís Gustavo Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferquim's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Gustavo Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Carlos Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferquim's Clemente Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magno Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. João Carlos Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Ferquim's Diogo Duarte, in the 67th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ferquim. Ferquim's Luís Gustavo Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nuno Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ferquim's Nuno Lopez in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mundubim's goalie prevented a goal.
