The Tafu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Pena came free, but Eliseu Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dirk Sijmonds, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paraná Clube Boys's zone, Elivélton Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Luz came out of the goal and Elivélton Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Pena in the 26th minute of play forced Paraná Clube Boys's goalkeeper Eliseu Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Lopez came free, but Eliseu Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dirk Sijmonds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patryk Olender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Luz having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Júlio Pena notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Paraná Clube Boys's Eliseu Luz. Eliseu Luz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th match minute, Paraná Clube Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Batista to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patryk Olender to make the kick off. When Zé Carlos Falcão in the 52nd matchminute tried to hit away a contribution it went so bad that the ball went into own goal via right pole. A dismal self made goal which led to 0-3. Dirk Sijmonds recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elivélton Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Luiz Dracena's late challenge caught a Tafu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Júlio Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tafu's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 94 minutes, Dirk Sijmonds managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tafu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dirk Sijmonds was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
