Paulo Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Perez in the 3rd minute of the match. After 5 played minutes Ninguém Dorme FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo da Silva. In the 8th minute, Marcelo da Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Ninguém Dorme FC booed when Genesio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Tepper didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Benedito Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Ninguém Dorme FC's Doriva Queirós broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 28 minutes into the game, Marcelo da Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Paulo Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute, Piotr Tepper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Genesio's Vitinho Vides nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Vinhas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Matheus Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ninguém Dorme FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Paulo Lopes came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Ninguém Dorme FC's Anísio Trevisan. But to his dismay, Anísio Trevisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Gugu Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If João Carlos Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitinho Vides's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celso Vinhas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Rafa da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genesio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafa da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Matheus Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ninguém Dorme FC's Lauro Salgado got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Piotr Tepper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vitinho Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Vinhas having to interfere. The referee ignored Genesio's protests and gave João Carlos Lira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Genesio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Lira to maneuver through the defense. Rafa da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Genesio's zone, Matheus Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Lopes came out of the goal and Matheus Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ninguém Dorme FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Genesio's much stronger midfield.
