Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luiz Fábio Mello started the match with the kick off. Aníbal Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Anderson Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Palmeiras Fc were awarded a corner. Renan Alves went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 12th minute, Álvaro Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amadeu Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Mello in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio Mello in the 15th minute of play forced Asa De Arapiraca's goalkeeper Amadeu Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Artur Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmeiras Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Britto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 played minutes Asa De Arapiraca got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Santana. Amadeu Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Britto in the 23rd minute of play. Luiz Fábio Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Amadeu Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fábio Mello in the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Richard Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmeiras Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee gave Palmeiras Fc a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Renan Alves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Asa De Arapiraca's Amadeu Barros. 0-2. Eugênio de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After the first half Palmeiras Fc were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aníbal Maciel to strike the kick off in the second half. Amadeu Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Mello in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 54 minutes, Artur Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmeiras Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Britto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute Edinho Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Asa De Arapiraca's Amadeu Barros got control of the ball when Artur Britto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Mello recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amadeu Barros. Luiz Fábio Mello showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Artur Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Britto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Amadeu Barros 73 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes Palmeiras Fc got a freekick which was hit by Renan Alves. Artur Britto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Amadeu Barros made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Luiz Fábio Mello dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amadeu Barros, 0-5. In the 89th minute, Luiz Fábio Mello fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amadeu Barros, passed just outside the right post. Amadeu Barros made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Artur Britto sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, Asa De Arapiraca's Aníbal Maciel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anderson Mello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Luiz Fábio Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Asa De Arapiraca fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palmeiras Fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
