Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Veiga started the match with the kick off. When Garcias's Sebastião Antunes in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quatiguaba EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute Ian Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Quatiguaba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Montenegro came free, but Ulisses Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Veiga came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jefferson Breckenfeld could save by the left post. Ulisses Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th match minute, Garcias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Egídio Loyola scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulisses Mendonça, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Quatiguaba EC's Emanuel Moreno got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Sebastião Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastião Antunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ulisses Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Antunes in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Quatiguaba EC's Haroldo Mendes got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With his leg Ulisses Mendonça managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Garcias's Ian Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Quatiguaba EC booed when Garcias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egídio Loyola hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes of play, Quatiguaba EC's David Veiga made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jefferson Breckenfeld was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 66 minutes, Egídio Loyola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garcias and the Quatiguaba EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Egídio Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Jefferson Breckenfeld didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Veiga went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Quatiguaba EC's Cássio Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute David Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jefferson Breckenfeld came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Quatiguaba EC's Cássio Quadros. But to his dismay, Cássio Quadros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 80th minute, Cássio Quadros made a precise shot to the right of Jefferson Breckenfeld. Garcias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Jefferson Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute David Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Garcias's Egídio Loyola got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jefferson Breckenfeld came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Quatiguaba EC's Cássio Quadros. But to his dismay, Cássio Quadros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Cássio Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Quadros in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jefferson Breckenfeld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Egídio Loyola was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. There was no doubt that Quatiguaba EC were the better team. Quatiguaba EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
