Benjamin Cardoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Marcelo Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Marcelo Matorin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Simão Gonçalves. Marcelo Matorin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Benjamin Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Marcelo Matorin made a precise shot to the right of Simão Gonçalves. Silver Galaxy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Benjamin Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Túlio Guedes's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. If Marcelo Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes of play, Roseira SC's Marcelo Matorin made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simão Gonçalves was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 33 minutes, Betão Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silver Galaxy FC and the Roseira SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Betão Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zeca Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Simão Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeca Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Gonçalves having to interfere. Marcelo Matorin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simão Gonçalves having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tales Penha made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Marcelo Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roseira SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zeca Matos might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simão Gonçalves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeca Matos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th minute, Marcelo Matorin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roseira SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Silver Galaxy FC's goalkeeper Simão Gonçalves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Betão Viana was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Diguinho Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roseira SC's Benjamin Cardoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Roseira SC from getting a goal against them. When João Carlos Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roseira SC's protests and gave João Carlos Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Silver Galaxy FC booed when Roseira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Carlos Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeca Matos took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simão Gonçalves. Simão Gonçalves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. 92 minutes into the game, Luiz Fabiano Rezende cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Benjamin Cardoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roseira SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
