Fausto Nóbrega took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Perez. Igor Perez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 18 minutes, Dedé Terra made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Acungui EC's Simão Santana tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Teodoro Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dedé Terra came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the street fight fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Terra couldn't finish the play. Igor Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguinho Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dedé Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 44 minutes, Fausto Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acungui EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to street fight getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Zé Carlos Barral hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Ronaldinho Toscano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Perez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Nóbrega to make the kick off. Igor Perez came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Acungui EC's Túlio da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Túlio da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Leonardo Cabral put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Acungui EC booed when street fight was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Nóbrega in the 59th minute of the match. Igor Perez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Ferraz in the 60th minute. Simão Santana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manolo Gaúcho went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Acungui EC's Teodoro Ferraz got a free kick in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedé Terra in the 68th minute of play forced Acungui EC's goalkeeper Simão Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Gaspar during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Acungui EC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Cristian Gaspar hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodriguinho Oliveira got free with Igor Perez in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute Túlio da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. street fight's Igor Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Nóbrega in the 89th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
